Human Rights Department

The Department of Human Rights at Lund University has been a partner of CMES since its founding. The issue of human rights is vital when researching the Middle East, especially in Sweden. Therefore, we are teaming up to offer courses, events and conferences.

A member of the Human Rights Department, Dr. Rouzbeh Parsi, has recently taken a leave of absence to work for the European Union’s Institute for Security Studies where he continues to conduct research and provide policy advice on Iran.

Further information on the departments efforts on the Middle East will be published shortly. Until then, please find further information at their website.
