Kenneth M Persson was born in Skivarp, Sweden in 1964. He holds a MSc in chemical engineering (1989) and a PhD in food engineering (1994), both from Lund University. At present he works as research manager at Sydvatten AB in Malmö and as visiting professor / university lecturer at Dept. Water Resources Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Lund University. He has previously been working as consultant at the Swedish consulting firm Sweco.
His main interests lie in water supply and water chemistry. He has research cooperation with Tunisia, Jordan and Egypt in the Middle East and North Africa area and has published papers on water reuse, water planning and water quality monitoring from the area.
