A new board, which will replace the former Board of Directors, was consituted and installed in March 2013.
The new board members were nominated by the selection commitee and elected by the eligible staff members at CMES.
The new board members are:

The Board of Directors of the Center for Middle Eastern Studies at Lund University assist in directing the priorities of the center and developing options for growth. It consists of individuals from various academic disciplines and professions. In addition, we include a member of the Swedish Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Robert Rydberg, maintaining a relationship with the Swedish state and a PhD student in Lund to ensure the students interests are protected.
