Stefano Bigliardi

Post-doctoral Researcher

I completed my undergraduate studies in Philosophy (2004) and a PhD in Philosophy of Science (2008) at the University of Bologna. In September 2010, I joined the Center for Middle Eastern Studies here in Lund as a visiting researcher. From January to June 2011, I received a post-doctoral scholarship from the University of Constance (Germany) in the frame of the Excellence Center “EXC16 - The Cultural Foundations of Integration”. I am currently working on a monograph about the contemporary proponents of the harmony between Islam and science, particularly looking at their interpretations of the concept of “miracle.”
