Persian Language and Culture

Persian (Farsi) at the Center for Middle Eastern Studies, Lund University

Persian is one of the major languages of Middle East and Central Asia and has been for centuries the second language of the Islamic world.

CMES offers courses in Persian, aiming to develop language competence and cultural knowledge for all walks of life in a Persian-speaking country. Levels available currently range from beginner to advanced.

These courses are only available to the students those who enroll in the Middle Eastern Studies program at CMES as well as the center’s staff.
