The Centre for Advanced Middle Eastern Studies supports research projects with high scientific potential through the Strategic Research Area (SRA): Middle East in the Contemporary World (MECW). 


CMES encourages research collaboration between scholars from different disciplines within Lund University. Project proposals should be focused on novel interdisciplinary research questions related to the Middle East.
