Last year, Lund University experienced a record year in terms of articles published on The Conversation - an international news site that provides researchers with the opportunity to reach a broad audience. With 55 articles from 50 Lund University researchers, the publications during 2024 reached a total of 1.6 million views.
The Faculty of Social Sciences is at the top with 20 articles and 330 000 views. Among these, CMES researchers published four - 20 percent - of the articles:

New CMES publications in The Conversation 2025
During the first weeks of 2025, CMES researchers have published several new articles in The Conversation. One of these, Why Kurds Face an Uncertain Future in Ahmed Al-Shara’s Rebel-Led Syria by Pinar Dinc (20 January 2025), has reached almost 15 000 international reads in only two weeks.
