Project coordinator Dr. Pinar Dinc (Lund University) and members of the advisory board of the project: Dr. Deniz Erkmen (Özyeğin University), Dr. Olga S. Hünler (Freie Universität Berlin), Assoc Prof. Dr. Ömer Turan talked about the content and aims of the project and discussed academia and academic freedom violations in Turkey.  

Dr. Olga Selin Hünler is a visiting researcher at the Freie University Berlin, Germany. Her primary research focus is on masculinity, gender, feminist psychology, and academic freedom.

Dr. Deniz Erkmen is a  Assistant Professor at Ozyegin University, Turkey. Her teaching and research fields are comparative politics, political sociology, politics of the Middle East, civil society and political participation, transnationalism, skilled migration, globalization and identities.  Ü

Dr. Pınar Dinç is a researcher at Lund University, Sweden. Her research interests lie in the areas of nationalism, ethnicity, social movements, memory, diaspora, and the conflict and environment nexus in the Middle East and beyond.
