PLEASE NOTE: This seminar will take place on 20 April.

Ann-Kristin Jonasson is a senior lecturer at the Department of Political Science, University of Gothenburg. Her main research interest covers the EU’s democracy promotion in the Mediterranean and democratic processes in primarily Turkey and Jordan. She is currently developing a research project on the EU's work against terrorism though democracy promotion in the Middle East. The project title is "The Double-Edged Sword of Democracy: Constructions of Democracy in the European Union's External Action against Terrorism in the Middle East".
