CMES Research Seminar: Transnational Lives and Narratives - Three Scandinavian Women Missionaries and the Armenian Genocide
Presentation by Maria Småberg, Senior Lecturer in History and CMES Researcher, Lund University.
Maria Småberg is PhD in History and works as Associate Director of Studies, National Graduate School of History and Senior Lecturer in Peace and Conflict Studies. She is also currently a research associate at CMES, working on completing a book on witness-reporting and humanitarian work during the 1915 Armenian Genocide. Her main research interests include gender; war and peace; humanitarianism and cosmopolitan care ethics; the Armenian Genocide and witness narratives; the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and conflict transformation; interfaith dialogue, friendship and peacebuilding; peace education and interculturalism; missionary history and postcolonial theory.
