Visiting Guest Researcher
Ehsan is a researcher with background of watershed and water recourses management. He received his BSc degree in Watershed and Rangeland Management. In his MSc studies, he investigated effect of some soil and water properties on soil salinization. Currently, his focus is on the effects of climate change on groundwater sustainability in both quality and quantity aspects.
He joined to the Center for Middle Eastern Studies (CMES) and department of Water Resources Engineering of Lund University as a guest researcher since March 2019. At present, he is working on the effects of desalination wastewater on groundwater quality and the effects of climate change on groundwater sustainability.
His research interests are:
- Surface and groundwater quality and contamination
- Groundwater modeling and water resources management,
- Climate change effects on groundwater quality and quantity
- Remote sensing and geographic information systems application in groundwater modelling.
