Raed Bashitialshaaer

Raed Bashitialshaaer, obtained PhD in 2011 (Dept. of Water Res. Eng.) Lund University. In Cyprus, were obtained both Master in wastewater management and bachelor in civil engineering. Also, received Mechanical and Chemical Engineering Diploma from Bangladesh and Electric Diploma from Gaza (UNRWA), Palestine. Over the past fifteen years worked as a researcher, supervisor, mentoring and taught some courses here in Sweden and other places e.g. Cyprus, Oman and Bolivia. Published more than 40 articles (papers), book chapters and presented so many conferences around the world.

RB has extensively worked in the desalination and environmental research related solutions for water resources as an expert e.g. modeling and analyzing of the consequences, especially for the Middle East region such as Persian/Arabian Gulf, the Red Sea, the Mediterranean, and the Red-Dead Sea canal project. Teaching experience and interests are: Environmental Science, Fluid Mechanics, Hydromechanics, Engineering Hydraulics and Hydrology, Water Resources, Desalination and Brine Discharge. Currently, study the effects of climate change and related stressors on water resources.
