Transition to University Autonomy in Kazakhstan
The Centre for Middle Eastern Studies is participating with universities in Europe and Kazakhstan in an EU project “Transition to University Autonomy in Kazakhstan (TRUNAK)” within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA2 (Capacity Building in Higher Education). The project period is scheduled to run from 1st November 2017 to 30th October 2020.
The project coordinator is Hugo Bragioni at Karaganda State Medical University (KSMU), Kazakhstan.
The main aim of the project is to develop a model of decentralization of higher education institutions in Kazakhstan and to support structural changes in Kazakhstan higher education by transfer of experiences from EU countries in that area.
