Wan Ni Lin

Wan-Ni Lin is a Ph.D. student affiliated with both the Department of Physical Geography and Ecosystem Science and the Center for Advanced Middle Eastern Studies (CMES) at Lund University, focusing on remote sensing and GIS. Her research interests encompass remote sensing and pyrogeography, particularly concerning land cover and land use change, and its relationship with conflicts, with a specific focus on the Middle Eastern regions. She utilizes tools such as Google Earth Engine and machine learning models in her work. Prior to her current study, she holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Real Estate and Built Environment from National Taipei University, as well as a Master's degree in Geomatics from the University of Gävle.
