Arabic and Persian - language courses offer at Graduate School

Please note that the following application information is for new applicants only; you are not required to apply to keep your place on a course.

Persian

The language training course in Persian is accepting new students at both the beginner and intermediate levels. Apply using the link below, and Mehdi Ghavideldostkohi, the language training expert, will be in touch with information about taking the entry test. The last day to apply is 27 January, 2020.

Modern Standard Arabic

The language training course in Modern Standard Arabic only accepting new students who have previousdemonstrable experience with the language, for all three levels on offer (beginner, intermediate, and advanced). If you are interested in applying to join one of these three courses, please contact Rafah Barhoum, the language training expert.

She will determine if your previous experience fits into one of the three courses, so do provide any documentation or information about personal previous experience with the language when you contact her.

These courses are voluntary, non-credit bearing, and supplemental to your programme studies.

You will receive a certificate upon completion of the course indicating your eventual participation. The courses are open to all students and staff at the Faculty, so do let your peers outside of Graduate School who might be interested know how to apply! Graduate School students will be prioritised in the application round.
