Eighteen CMES scholars gathered at the MaryHill Estate, just outside Glumslöv, for a two-day research retreat focused on fostering collaboration and sharing valuable lessons in writing research applications.
Throughout the retreat, participants discussed different types of research calls and exchanged insights on how to strategically pitch applications. Various early drafts of research applications were presented and discussed, providing lots of constructive feedback.
Sessions included "The Art of Writing Successful Applications" and "Writing ERC, MSC, and Formas Applications," as well as multiple opportunities to review and discuss draft applications and pitches.
