The Foreign Affairs Committee from the Swedish parliament (Riksdagen) visited Lund University on May 27.
CMES Director Karin Aggestam was invited to give a presentation about CMES and Middle East research at Lund University. The committee was also briefed on several other issues at Lund University, ranging from cooperation with Ukraine to international recruitments.
The Foreign Affairs Committee includes members from all eight parliamentary parties in Sweden.
