Cover of the journal Haigazian Armenological Review

CMES researcher Svante Lundgren has authored the article "A piece of the Middle East in the north - the Armenian Community of Sweden", available in the Haigazian Armenological Review.

The Armenian community of Sweden is small (approximately 12,000 persons) and young (established in the second half of the 20th century). In this article the history of the community is described based on written sources, and integration strategies and patterns of identification discussed based on interviews with 17 members of the community.

The article is available in print: Haigazian Armenological Review, volume 41 (2021), pages 7-24.
